Chassidy Valentine Davenport
o Born on February 14, 1987, Chassidy Valentine Davenport was the fourth child to join the Davenport clan. Where her first name originated from, no one is quite sure. It's almost certain that her parents were trying to keep with the 'C' pattern the women of the family had going with their names. While her older brother (and second oldest sibling) got away with being named Jackson, after their father, Chassidy joined the line of names that followed after their mother, Cecile. Her middle name, Valentine is due in part to her parents' lack of creativity. Since she was born on Valentines Day, they decided to incorporate it somehow into her name. The family started off in Pleasantville, New Jersey. Cecile chose to take an indefinite leave of absence from her job as a nurse at the local hospital and took on the job of full-time mother while Jackson continued to work at the hospital as a doctor.
o The Davenport family spent their summer months in Longport with Cecile while Jackson stayed behind and worked. He'd drive down on the week-ends he was off duty to join the family. They all fell in love with the area and the summer before her Sophomore year in high school, Chassidy moved to Longport permanently with her mother and father. Jackson and Charlotte were already moved out of the house and away at college and Colleen could care less that she was moving schools, so long as she was graduating somewhere. She started at the local high school in the 10th grade while her older sister joined the 12th grade class that graduated later that year.
o During her time at Longport High, she worked on the school newspaper, which led her to landing a job at the local newspaper in town. She was mostly a copy/fact check girl and while it was incredibly mundane work, she welcomed it with open arms. She was interested in writing and reporting the news and if this is what she had to do to achieve her goal of one day being a journalist, she was ok with it. She worked at the newspaper through high school and was even told that once she graduated from college, she'd have a job back at the paper.
o Chassidy moved away for college. While she was away at college, she barely came back home to visit because she was determined to graduate in less than 4 years. Thanks to hours spent pouring herself into her studies and taking more credit hours than she should have, she completed her goal. Now finished with her B.A. in Journalism with a focus in general and investigative reporting, her plan was to move back to Longport and resume life as usual. She popped back into the newspaper office, ready to have a reporting job but was told that with the new shift in staff, she'd have to work her way back up the ladder. At first, she was angered by that idea but then she realized that if she had to do it again, it had to be for a reason.
o Chassidy has been working at the local newspaper for a while now and loves her job. Even though it requires her to write blurbs about the deceased and/or wedding announcements, and fetch coffee most of the time, there's no place else she'd rather be. She has dreams of one day being a writer with her own column but for now,she had to struggle on her way to the top by getting stuck performing random tasks.
o She currently lives by herself in her parent's home. Both her mother and father moved back to Pleasantville when she left for college. She tried to have a roommate when she first moved back but she quickly discovered that unless she knew the person really well, there was no way tha she could possibly live with them, even in a fairly large home. She has one pet, a long haired dachshund that she recently purchased to keep her company. He went nameless for a few days when she was suddenly struck by inspiration one evening that she fed him late and he turned into a little ball of hyper. Gremlin, who she affectionately calls Grim, is her favorite companion.
o Chassidy adores giraffes. They are the one animal that fascinates her the most. Sure, other animals are great but if there was one animal she could have as a pet, it would be a giraffe. She owns all sorts of trinkets with giraffes on them and even went so far as to adopt a giraffe through the World Animal Foundation.
o Chassidy taught herself how to play the piano. She was never really interested in taking classes so her ability to read music is basically nonexistent. However, if she hears a song a few times, she can sit down and play it with only a few mistakes here and there. The only downside is that the music she'd really like to play all requires a person to read musical notes and she's too stubborn to try and start learning now.
o She's currently taking a night class to learn Spanish. It's proving to be more difficult than she thought it would be but she's sticking with it only because it could possibly help her secure awesome jobs in the future.
o Chas is a very charitable person and believes in karma. She gives all of her loose change away to the people on the streets and when she doesn't have any, she's been known to walk into the nearest little coffee shop and buy them a cup of coffee or a snack of some sort. Her theory is that if she ever finds herself out on the street like them, she'd hope that someone would come along and be just as gracious if they could be. The golden rule is an important rule to her.

I feel so fucking alive today! Everything is bright and loud and I don't have time to type this because you know, the world is moving so fast and sooner or later I'm going to have to go with it and hey, I can do that, because I'm motherfucking awesome and do your eyelashes seem really long today or what? And loud, too, but not really loud, and this computer seems tiny, like my fingers on the keys are also tiny, infact all of my body is tiny except my head, my head is HUGE, and I'm chewing my tongue and I can hear it, so fucking loud. I wanted to go for a drive, but Qiu won't let me, so I'm going to sit here instead until the loud feelings go away, because they're bad or something I DON'T KNOW, hahahahaaa. And what the fuck are you looking at? I'm fine, stop that. This is my normal behaviour. I'm always like this. Because I'm TORU! Toru! God of pink and baking and shut the fuck up why are you being so annoying? LEAVE ME ALONE. Why the hell are my hands so small? Like they shrunk in the wash. Maybe they shrunk last night, and that's why my head feels so big because it is. I threw the wii nunchuk at the tv and I think I nearly broke the screen, OOPS. Fuck. Fuck this! FUCK this. Don't treat me like a fucking child I'm thirty whatever and you, YOU are my little brother now go eat some ice cream or something, you're just jealous because YOU will never feel this good or this small or fuck, why am I so small? I feel like I'm going to go down the plug hole or something, like I'm going to BREAK like one of those premature babies or a kitten or something MISHA. WHERE THE HELL ARE YOU? GOD I'm hungry I want to go for a walk and he won't let me and I am FINE.
